Lotus Laboratory Services has developed considerable experience and built a scope of monitoring for the analysis of air samples collected from incineration and combustion processes. Encompassed within this are samples from furnace, boiler, oven, incinerator etc. We carry out on-site monitoring and provide advice and guidance to ensure our customers comply with Environmental Quality (Clean Air) Regulation, 2014.
Ambient Air Pollution
Ambient air pollution is a grave concern for both the public and the authorities for its detrimental effect on human health. Ambient air quality testing is required to determine the existing quality of air, evaluate the effectiveness of the control program, and to identify areas in need of restoration. The Department of Environment has published the Malaysia Ambient Air Quality Standard (MAAQS) to provide guidance on acceptable limits for individual air pollutants to safeguard public interest. Lotus Laboratory Services offers reliable ambient air quality testing services to help our clients:
- Evaluate the ambient air quality of a particular site or region in accordance with the MAAQS
- Assess the ambient air quality around an industrial site as a requirement of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
Chimney Emission Testing
Chimney Emission Testing or Stack Monitoring is the process of evaluating the characteristics of industrial waste gas stream emissions into the atmosphere. Lotus Laboratory Services offers reliable and independent emission testing to help our clients for the compliance of Environmental Quality (Clean Air) Regulations 2014.
Environmental Noise Pollution
Environmental noise pollution can cause hearing impairment from the continuous exposure to high noise levels. Lotus Laboratory Services offers accurate boundary noise levels measurement services to help our clients:
- Assess the noise levels of a particular site or region in accordance with the Planning Guidelines for Environmental Noise Limits for planning purposes and EIA study
- Assess the noise levels around an industrial site as a requirement of an ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
